Alexandra Monaghan secures acquittal in road rage case.

Alexandra Monaghan, instructed by Katie Kipps of Murrays Partnership, has secured an acquittal at Cambridge Crown Court.
Alexandra’s client faced an allegation of a serious ABH, following a heated exchange at the roadside. The altercation resulting in the complainant suffering from fractured elbows and an extremely low heart rate, requiring CPR on two occasions.
Following careful analysis of previous accounts provided by the complainant, Alexandra was able to demonstrate various inconsistencies to support her cross examination, and successfully advance a defence of self-defence.
The jury deliberated for little over an hour, returning a unanimous not guilty verdict.
