Clea Topolski's client acquitted of Murder.

Clea Topolski, led by Stephen Moses KC, secured unanimous acquittals for murder and manslaughter at the Central Criminal Court before the Common Serjeant.

The defence successfully resisted a 'bad character’ application, and also prevented evidence being adduced of drill music videos featuring the Defendant which the Crown said glorified violence and the use of knives. Other evidence of purported membership and affiliation to a violent gang in the local area (in order to establish a motive for the killing) was also successfully excluded.
