Julia Flanagan secures acquittal of doctor accused of sexual assault at hospital.

Julia Flanagan was privately instructed by Jenny Winter of Birds Solicitors to represent a consultant doctor accused of multiple sexual assaults upon a vulnerable complainant.

The complainant was cross-examined using the S28 procedure with the assistance of an intermediary. There were complex background issues as to evidence the regulatory and internal proceedings and their relevance to the criminal trial. The doctor was unanimously found not guilty.
