Laura Herbert instructed in Extradition of convicted sex trafficker.

Laura Herbert has been instructed by the nation of France to seek the extradition of a Nigerian man who is currently in the UK. France wishes to extradite the man so he can serve a 6 year prison sentence for modern slavery offences, including trafficking Nigerian women into France and exploiting them into prostitution. The case has been reported by the Daily Mail.

The extradition hearing was heard last week where expert evidence was given in relation to the Nigerian man's health, as he has been diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour.

The Judge's decision on extradition is due later this month.
