Libby Anderson acts for CAA in first COVID prosecution.

Libby Anderson acted on behalf of the Civil Aviation Authority in the prosecution of Romanian airline Blue Air Aviation for six offences under the Covid Enforcement Regulations, in the first prosecution of its kind.

Blue Air Aviation pleaded guilty to five offences of failing to confirm that passengers arriving at Heathrow had completed a passenger locator form, and one offence of failing to ensure that a passenger had a negative pre-departure Covid-19 test, and was fined £40,000 at a sentencing hearing today.
