Liam Chin’s client acquitted of rape and four counts of sexual assault.

03 March 2026

Following a six-day trial at Inner London Crown Court, the jury took just 29 minutes to unanimously acquit Liam’s client on all counts.

Liam’s client was an 18-year-old who had been visiting London on a school trip in 2024 when it was alleged that he had raped and sexually assaulted a young girl who was on a different school trip staying at the same hotel.

Liam was able to successfully undermine the Crown’s case. He teased out many inconsistencies in cross examination, before mounting a strong defence case.

In closing he told the jury that the only true verdicts could be five counts of not guilty.

Liam was instructed by Savannah Loizides of Stuart Miller Solicitors.
