Practice Profile

Liam joined Chambers as a tenant in October 2023 following his successful completion of pupillage.

He accepts instructions in the Crown Court as well as instructions in other areas of Chambers' work such as regulatory matters, professional discipline, and inquests. Liam receives instructions in sports law and regulation where his background as a rugby player offers deep insight and knowledge.

Before joining us, he enjoyed a successful career as a chef, working in some of the world’s best restaurants, before establishing an extremely busy and rewarding private practice, honing his intricate attention to detail and exceptional client care.

In law, Liam has worked for the Freedom Law Clinic, reviewing sentences for joint enterprise since Jogee. Liam sought to find sentences which could be deemed unsafe, with specific regard, but not limited to, the absence of alternative routes to verdict.

Liam has held the position of board member with the Independent Monitoring Board commissioned by The Ministry of Justice. His role was to go into prisons and make sure the rights of prisoners and employees were adhered to. He worked tirelessly to make sure those rights were observed during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Liam is heavily involved in various outreach projects and promotes a diverse and inclusive Bar. He is committed to access to justice.

Liam is friendly and approachable; he draws on his wealth of experience and knowledge to build strong and effective relationships.
