Following a 4-day trial at the Central Criminal Court, Liam Chin’s client was acquitted of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs.

The client was found in a property which contained a large quantity of Cocaine and Cannabis. The Crown’s case was that the property was used for the sole purpose of drug dealing.

Liam was able to unpick the evidential flaws in the Crown’s case. He was able to successfully present to the jury that his client had no knowledge of the drugs found, that he was therefore not in possession of the drugs found, and that there was no evidential material to support any intent to supply.

Following a short deliberation, the jury returned a verdict of not guilty on both counts.

Liam was instructed by Shahid Khan and Abraar Ayaz of Advice Wise Solicitors.
