Physiotherapist, represented by Rosalia Myttas-Perris, cleared of sexually motivated behaviour and misconduct .

07 March 2023

Rosalia recently represented a physiotherapist accused of sexually motivated behaviour. The 11-day substantive hearing before the Conduct and Competence Committee of the Health and Care Professions Council concerned allegations of inappropriate sexually motivated behaviour towards two service users. Rosalia successfully challenged a number of the allegations, resulting in some of the charges, including the most serious of sexual motivation, being found not proved. Following further submissions, the panel went on to find no misconduct and no impairment.

The Registrant is able to continue practising with no findings of misconduct or impairment, and thus no sanction.

Rosalia was instructed by Godric Jolliffe at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
