Rosalia Myttas-Perris secures acquittal for nurse charged with assault by penetration.

Rosalia recently represented a mental health nurse charged with assault by penetration. Following sexual activity between the defendant and two colleagues, Rosalia’s client was accused of intentionally penetrating the vagina of the complainant with a vibrator without consent.

Following a week-long trial at Inner London Crown Court (sitting at the Royal Courts of Justice), the jury swiftly returned a verdict of not guilty on both assault by penetration and the lesser alternative of sexual assault.
