Alice joined chambers as a tenant following successful completion of pupillage in October 2024.
Alice is regularly instructed in a variety of criminal, both prosecuting and defending. Her thorough preparation, pragmatic and empathetic approach has made her very popular with instructing solicitors and lay clients. She has developed a thriving practice in the Crown Court, both prosecuting and defending a wide range of offences, including assault, driving offences and fraud.
Alice has a developed a busy regulatory practice and has been instructed to represent professionals at final, appeal and interim hearings at the NMC and HCPC.
Prior to commencing pupillage, Alice worked as a hearings coordinator at the NMC, working closely alongside parties to assist the administration of a fair hearing and drafting panel decisions.

Past and Recent Instructions
- NMC v F – Represented a nurse accused of dishonesty. No case to answer was found in respect of the dishonesty charge and impairment.
- R v K – Represented a defendant charged with common assault. The Defendant, who was of good character, was acquitted.
- R v S – Prosecuted a defendant charged with dangerous driving on retrial.
- NMC v B – Represented a nurse charged with assaults of patients within their care and wider clinical failings. Following cross-examination of 16 witnesses, the panel found no facts proved in respect of the allegations of assault, and no impairment in relation to the minor clinical failings found proved.
